Pre-Thanksgiving Event To Support Hope’s Table Chicago and the Homeless Ministry
Even though we now are in a COVID endemic, we sell want to adhere to public health precautions this year
by providing 80 Pre-Thanksgiving boxed warm meals on the morning of Saturday, November 18, 2023 at
Grace Place Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall (637 S. Dearborn Street – Chicago, IL 60605). Next year, we
hope to gather in-person for a dine-in Thanksgiving Day fellowship meal at FUMC Chicago Temple (similar
to how we celebrated together for many years prior to the outbreak of the pandemic).
Volunteers: 10 Volunteers are needed to help distribute the boxed meals and beverages to guests of Hope’s Table Chicago as well as to help with room set up and clean up for this event. If you would like to volunteer on the morning of November 18, 2023 (serve at Grace Place Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall from 7:30 am to 10:00 am), please send an e-mail as soon as possible to the Volunteer Coordinator at: homelessministryvolunteer@gmail.com
Donations: Monetary donations in any amount would be appreciated to support the purchase of these
boxed meals from a professional caterer. Donations may be in the form of:
