National Day of Prayer with Community Renewal Society

“Praying for Chicago a safe summer and the CRS Platform for Renewal.”
Join CRS and our allies as we gather for a very large group prayer on National Day of Prayer.
The theme is unity and our three goals are:
- Ask that elected adopt the CRS Platform around specific campaigns (re-entry, housing, progressive tax, end gun violence, etc.)
- Pray for safe summer
- Unity for the new City Council.
Here is the agenda for the gathering:
- Gather at Thompson Center by 9:45am
- Welcome and Overview, 10am
- Opening Prayer, 10:10am
- Begin to walk to City Hall across the street, 10:15am
- Prayer begins, 10:20am
- Close, 10:45am
