Annual Soul Food Luncheon

$10All are welcome to this time of fellowship and learning as we celebrate African American Heritage Month during February!
Our luncheon speaker will be Alden Loury, Senior Editor on topics of Race, Class and Communities at WBEZ Radio 91.5 FM, the National Public Radio affiliate in Chicago. He will talk about population changes occurring in the Chicago area, with emphasis on African American communities, and the implications for our city.
Mr. Loury’s background includes extensive work with the Metropolitan Planning Council; Better Government Association; and the Chicago Reporter, where he rose from the ranks of reporter to publisher. His work has been discussed throughout local and national media outlets, including WTTW Chicago Tonight, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, CNN, Forbes, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and many more.
Suggested donation is $10 per person.
