Hope’s Table Chicago has a new service delivery operation planned. Beginning April 25, we will offer boxed lunches as well as other items for the most vulnerable members of society. The lunches will be distributed in front of Grace Place between 8:30a.m. – 9:30 a.m. by just two volunteers who will wear masks, gloves, and hats.

A table will be set up in front of Grace Place where the bagged lunches will be placed as well as bags filled with other items such as toiletries, resource guides, and messages for our guests. Guests will line up six feet from each other and will be given masks to wear by our security guard. Box lunches will be purchased from the restaurant across the street from Grace Place, SRO Chicago (Standing Room Only), a locally owned business.

Online donations are very important right now. Choose the Homeless Ministry option in the Donate section: https://www.chicagotemple.org/donate/. Given social distancing mandates, it is more challenging for us to accept tangible donations, but the ministry will need many face masks, hand sanitizers and gloves.
