Effective July 1, Michael will be the appointed Pastor of FUMC in Yuma, Arizona. Plan to participate at our monthly in-person Walk-up Communion on Sunday, May 16 between 1:00-3:00pm when Michael will be available for you to personally say Goodbye. We hope you will take a moment to offer words of encouragement or gifts for Michael’s ministry during this time. You may mail cards to the church, drop them off at the church office window during 9am-4pm on week-days, or deliver personally to Michael on May 16.

We are so grateful to Michael for numerous contributions he has made as our Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary Intern since September, 2019. In addition to assisting in weekly worship and delivering sermons, Michael has been a consistent participant in our weekly prayer group and a part of the team of volunteers assisting guests at Grace Place on Saturday’s. He has been instrumental in forming and over-seeing new technologies installed in the church Sanctuary this past year during Covid-19, and he has played a significant role in updating the church web-site. We will miss Michael and hope you will join us in wishing him well in his new ministry.
