Jesus said wherever two or three Christians are together – he's there too. So we offer a combination of in-person and web meetings so you can participate with others in prayer, worship or social events. We hope to meet you online or in person soon!

Join us for our 2022 Virtual FUMC Retreat
February 26, 2021 – 9:00 am Gathering, 9:15 am Start to 12:00 pm Adjourn
This year, after 18 months of taking one day at a time and weathering so many different storms created by the pandemic, we want to take you to a new place. This seminar will focus on the impact of CONTAGIOUS JOY – how it is nurtured through Jesus, our faith and interior life; how it is nurtured through others–our family, friends and relationships, and how nurturing joy in ourselves – our mental, physical and emotional health brings joy. Join us to hear our Featured Speakers take on CONTAGIOUS JOY followed by a moderated panel of experienced members of our church along with panel member Lisa Goodale. Lisa is an independent healthcare consultant with a focus on behavioral health and wellness, peer support services, and inclusion of people with lived recovery experience. She serves as Training Maven/Senior Training Director for Humannovations and Humannovations-U, a global learning hub for creating healthier, more compassionate communities offering core seminars in crisis support, peer support, and suicide prevention. Lisa is co-Lay Leader and an active member of North Shore United Methodist Church in Glencoe. She also co-chairs the church’s Racial Justice Team and is a past Board member of the United Methodist Foundation of the Northern Illinois Conference. This seminar will include breakout sessions with our panelists, some exercises and a commitment to Joy in the year in front of us
