Come Join UMW with Author, Linda Keane

Everyone is invited to join with United Methodist Women with Linda Keane, author and member of our church and UMW will be talking about her new book, The House on Lowell Street.
It is a novel based on a true event: the strike of the Kalamazoo corset workers in 1912. The main character is named Rose, who overcomes her own problems in a clever way and still finds time to help the corset workers in their efforts. A concerned pastor also tries to help with the negotiations. (He must have been a Methodist.)
