Jesus said wherever two or three Christians are together – he's there too. So we offer a combination of in-person and web meetings so you can participate with others in prayer, worship or social events. We hope to meet you online or in person soon!

Grief Support Group – Mondays starting June 2nd
July 7 @ 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 10-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

Our group is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Chicago we worship with, and provide support for people in Chicago and the suburbs. Whether you go to church or not – you are welcome here! What do we believe? We believe that we are all in need of God’s love and grace and that God, through Jesus Christ, intends the church to be a community that incarnates love, grace and justice for all people. Holding true to that belief, we welcome all persons, including persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
All meetings will be at the church, located at the corner of Clark and Washington in Chicago. We will email the location of the classroom when we receive your registration. All classrooms are fully accessible. We also provide reduced-cost parking vouchers, please let us know if you need a voucher before the meeting.
