Jesus said wherever two or three Christians are together – he's there too. So we offer a combination of in-person and web meetings so you can participate with others in prayer, worship or social events. We hope to meet you online or in person soon!

Job Hunting Support Group: Networking Skills Seminar
February 18, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
FreeFUMC Chicago, in partnership with Career Transitions Center, invites you to this free seminar on networking. The seminar is limited to 20 people and you must register here to attend –> https://ctcchicago.org/ER_Open.asp?seq=4705
Networking is a critical skill to develop for job search and ongoing career success – yet, it is one of the least understood (and most feared) of all professional skills.
CTC Coach Rebekah Kane will facilitate this session:
Rebekah is a certified life and career coach, specializing in Career and Life Transitions, and is principal coach and Founder of Tell a New Story Coaching. She has coached and trained hundreds of people, of diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, through their unique job, career and life transitions. Rebekah’s holistic approach empowers people to honor the “space in-between”, amidst challenging transitions in life and career, and walks clients through fears and the “stuck places” to be able to take action towards goals.
The Career Transitions Center of Chicago’s (CTC) mission is to empower unemployed professionals in Chicago to find meaningful work.
CTC was founded in 1997 by five faith communities:
Chicago Temple (United Methodist)
Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago
Holy Name Cathedral (Roman Catholic)
Old Saint Patrick’s Church (Roman Catholic)
Saint Chrysostom Church (Episcopal)
