OPUS 414 FUNDRAISING RECITAL ANNOUNCEMENT |
 Please mark your calendars for Wednesday evening, AUGUST 30, AT 6:30 P.M., and plan to attend a fundraising recital entitled THE PIPES ARE CALLING!
This special performance is a gift to our congregation and the organ restoration project by two of our choir members, Soprano Ayla Langer, and Tenor Grant Papastefan, who will be singing a variety of classical and popular songs by J. S. Bach, Mendelssohn, Verdi, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky, and several others. The performance will be presented here in the sanctuary and accompanied by our Organist, dr. Phillip Kloeckner, and Pianist Katrina Kontorovitch. Ayla, Grant, and Katrina have earned music performance degrees from Northwestern University and are compelling performers who will bring the beauty and drama of their music on this varied program to life in service of our organ restoration project. Admission to this program is without charge, however, gifts and pledges to the organ restoration fund will be gratefully received.
