World Communion Sunday & “Taste of the Temple”

On this special day, many Christian churches around the world from different cultures and denominations celebrate Holy Communion to commemorate our unity as the connected body of Jesus Christ sharing God’s love with others.
At the Chicago Temple, all are encouraged to wear a cultural/heritage attire and join us in James Parlor to sample a “Taste of the Temple.” There will be complimentary cuisine from many cultures, reflective of the diversity and abundance of God’s creation. We will be having a variety of communion breads from all over the world and we would like to give thanks to Mabel Guzman for sharing with us pan dulce, a Mexican sweet bread roll. All are welcome to this time of fellowship!
A special offering will fund graduate World Communion Scholarships, undergraduate U.S. Ethnic Scholarship, and Ethnic In-Service Training programs.
