New Matching Gift Announced for Opus 414 Organ Project!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of two Chicago Temple congregation members—an anonymous donor and Lester Munson—any gifts donated for the Opus 414 organ restoration project up to $75,000 will be matched between now and October 15.
To date, we have raised $2.8 million toward our $3.25 million goal, thanks to your abundant gifts and a grant from the HAS Foundation. These funds will be used to completely restore and renovate the Opus 414 and establish a maintenance and performance fund to ensure the organ is heard for generations to come.
The organ is currently undergoing restoration at the Schantz Organ Company in Ohio and is expected to return to the Chicago Temple sanctuary later this year. Help us meet this generous challenge with a gift before October 15!
