The Temple & Gorham UMC help Carter School
On Wednesday our Manager of Family Ministries, Piers Fetters, delivered winter coats, hats, and gloves to Carter School. This continues our annual partnership with our sister church, Gorham UMC, as we work together to be a blessing to families on the southside. These coats were collected over the year by the Family Ministries in collaboration with our Parents of Youth & Children Sunday School Class (POYC). The POYC also purchased ALDI gift cards which will be handed out by Carter School to families in need so they might be able to buy food for a holiday meal.
We are so thankful for the generous spirit of our congregation during this Advent season. In the same way that God has blessed each of us, let us too be a blessing for others.
