Come celebrate with this year’s speaker, Timothy B. Tyson, the author of “The Blood of Emmett Till” (2017). He currently is a Senior Research Scholar at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, Visiting Professor of American Christianity and Southern Culture at Duke Divinity School, and also holds positions in the Department of American Studies at the University of North Carolina and the Department of History at Duke University.
