Fall 2026 Carillon Hymn Schedule

Keep your ear to the skies! In celebration of the coming of Fall, our Verdin Carillon system has been reprogrammed with a new selection of hymns.

The carillon schedule has the Westminster clock chime ringing every quarter hour and tolling the hour from 8:00am until 10:00pm.  Ten minutes prior to each of our services, a 6 bell peal rings for one minute, calling everyone to worship.  Finally, at :46 minutes of the hour from 8:46am until 6:46pm, the following selected hymns serenade our city for two verses:

9:46               A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
10:46             Count Your Blessings
11:46             We Gather Together
1:46pm         Come, Ye Thankful People, Come
2:46               Bringing in the Sheaves
3:46               Amazing Grace
4:46               O God, Our Help In Ages Past
5:46               Now Thank We All Our God
6:46               Abide With Me

The hymns will be changed later in the year to reflect the changing of the seasons.

Where cross the crowded ways of life,
Where sound the cries of race and clan,
Above the noise of selfish strife,
We hear your voice, O Son of man.

Till all the world shall learn your love
And follow where your feet have trod,
Till, glorious from your heaven above,
Shall come the city of our God!

May the sound of our church bells abide with all who hear them throughout the days, uplift the spirit of our neighborhood, and remind all who listen of our holy presence in the heart of our city.
