From the Heart of the Orchestra – A Free Concert

Peformers will include Emma Gerstein (flute), Aiko Noda (violin), Diane Mues (violin), and Loren Brown (cello).

The musicians will be playing:

  2. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Flute Quartet No. 4 in A Major, K. 298
    • Andante, Theme and Variations

    • Rondeau; Allegretto Grazioso
  3. Ludwig von Beethoven – Serenade for Flute, Violin, and Viola, Op. 25
    • Entrata; Allegro
    • Menuetto
    • Allegro Molto
    • Andante con Variazioni
    • Allegro Scherzando e Vivace
    • Adagio-Allegro Vivace e Disinvolto
  4. Antonin Dvorak – Waltz Op. 54, No. 4

“From the Heart of the Orchestra ” is a series of performances by the Musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra during their strike for a fair contract. All concerts – whether by chamber groups or full orchestra – are free of charge, but advanced registration is required.
